GET IN THE POT began with a metal cooking pot. Playing in cooking pots on the kitchen floor was one of my earliest memories and shaped my understanding of space and play. This piece explores memory of childhood, relationship of body to object, and the intimacy of female friendships. The form of the “duet” acts as the container throughout for these ideas and experiments.
