Dirge Without Music was created alongside a series of 7 chronological voicemails that take place over a period of a few months. These voicemails are sound-score for this solo. As time passes, the audience hears the differences in the speaker's voice as time passes. This highly physical and repetitive piece explores the voice, passing of time, and breath as ways to show the vulnerability of the human voice.
